Registering Excellence at UCLA
UCLA is a truly international university that offers a world of opportunity to more than 43,000 Students from around the globe. These students depend on the UCLA Registrar’s Office for a variety of services including enrollment, degrees, classes, transcripts, grades, and official publications. By offering access to 3800 classes for more than 125 majors and 80 minors, the Registrar’s website is a critical information resource for UCLA faculty, staff and students alike.
The RO team took a strategic design approach to create a user-centric online experience using UCLA brand conventions as a starting point. The redesign included a complete overhaul of all site content, requiring migration of more than 700 pages from the old static site to the new DotNetNuke CMS framework. RO also re-imagined the design of the Schedule of Classes application, making it much easier for students to navigate through thousands of courses to ensure they stay on the right path in pursuit of their academic goals.
