A top national school gets a new home.As the birthplace to many of the innovations that define today’s World Wide Web, Stanford University had justifiably high expectations for its 2008 website redesign, which is why they chose to partner with Rolling Orange to help make it happen.

Stanford is a world-renowned educational and research institution with a huge, ever-changing story to tell. The home page must to speak to many different audiences at many different levels: from prospective and current students to faculty, parents, alumni, and the community at large.

The new home page design places primary importance on communicating newsworthy events and achievements that take place on a daily basis at Stanford. An innovative navigation system—featuring an expandable main menu panel, Google search, and audience gateway links—provides visitors with many options from which to explore the million-plus page website. Rich media features such as embedded video and a Flash-based tour capture the essence of daily life on Stanford’s beautiful California campus.
